As a Light Fabrication Boilermaker with AES, you will beresponsible for the repair and fabrication of trays and truckbodies and related components. This role involves performingmaintenance and repair tasks in a safe, effective, and competentmanner

In this role you will be responsible for:

n

n
- Repair and fabricate trays and bodies/modules
n
- Be accountable for maintaining and repairing equipment in asafe, efficient and competent manner
n
- Carry out tasks in accordance with site policies andprocedures, including take 5's and the permit to worksystem
n
- Work in and maintain a clean and safe working environmentwith an acceptable level of housekeeping
n
- Correctly use and maintain PPE at all times
n
- Use and maintain workshop tooling in accordance withworking specifications and conditions
n
- Maintain accurate time-keeping records relating to worktasks
n




- Perform any additional tasks as directed which are withinyour skill, qualification, and competence level
n

What we are looking for:

n

n
- Australian Manual Drivers Licence
n
- Australian/NZ Recognised Trade Certificate
n
- Tickets and licences EG: Forklift, WAH, Confined Space,Dogging (desired)
n
- Body building, fabrication and welding experience withinindustrial/light fabrication environments
n
- Strong fabrication and welding skills, including welding upto 12mm plate
n
- Experience with sheet metal, guillotines and hydraulicpresses
n
- Ability to fabricate handrails, platforms, ladders andother structures from various designs
n
- Ability to read and interpret design/engineeringdrawings
n
- Willingness to complete and pass a welding test
n
- Ability to work to tight deadlines while maintaining a highstandard of workmanship
n
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 6:00am–5:00pm, withup to 6 hours on Saturdays as required
