The unit includes:

- 24-bed specialist adult inpatient assessment and treatment unit
n
- Dedicated High Dependency Unit
n
- Experienced and stable multidisciplinary team
n
- Strong integration with community mental health services for continuity of care

You Will Work Alongside Skilled

n

- Mental health nurses
n
- Social workers
n
- Occupational therapists
n
- Case managers
n

n

Allowing you to focus on assessment, treatment planning, leadership, and supervision rather than administrative overload.

The Role

- Consultant responsibility for adult inpatient care
n
- Clinical leadership within a supportive senior medical team
n
- Supervision and mentoring of junior medical staff
n
- Participation in a shared on-call roster
n
- Contribution to service development and quality improvement initiatives

Eligibility

Applicants Must Meet One Of The Following

- FRANZCP
n
- Eligible for specialist registration in Australia
n
- IMG eligible for the Expedited Specialist Pathway
n
- Assessed as Substantially Comparable by RANZCP
n
- UK or Irish-trained Psychiatrist holding CCT / CCST, eligible for streamlined specialist recognition in Australia
