About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Australian engineering team. This role combines technical support, commissioning, product introduction, field engineering and customer-facing technical leadership across residential, commercial and utility-scale Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Commission and troubleshoot residential, commercial and utility-scale BESS.
n




- Provide advanced technical support to installers, EPCs and distributors.
n
- Configure PCS, EMS, batteries, inverters and communications (CAN, RS485, Modbus).
n
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI), field validation and product improvement.
n
- Deliver installer training and technical workshops.
n
- Develop technical documentation, commissioning procedures and troubleshooting guides.
n
- Support compliance, certification and Australian standards.
n
- Work closely with global R&D; to improve products for the Australian market.
n

Requirements

n

n
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
n
- 3–8+ years' experience in BESS, solar, power electronics or field engineering.
n
- Robust commissioning and troubleshooting capability.
n
- Knowledge of AS/NZS 3000, 4777 and 5139.
n
- Experience with Victron, SMA, Deye, Fronius, Growatt or Sungrow is highly regarded.
n
- Mandarin is highly regarded but not essential.
n
- Australian working rights.
n
