About the role

n

We are seeking an experienced Graphic Designer to join a Community and Stakeholder Engagement Team within a large public-sector organisation.

n

The successful candidate will support the delivery of high-quality communication and engagement materials, working closely with project teams to develop creative collateral for infrastructure and community-focused projects.

n

You will also work closely with the organisation's Strategic Communication and Engagement Creative team to share learnings, maintain brand consistency and contribute to the development of creative ideas.

n

Key responsibilities

n

You will be responsible for designing a range of communication collateral in line with corporate brand guidelines and standards, including:

n

- Newsletters
n
- Project and informational signage
n
- Educational and community signage
n
- Planning and summary documents
n
- Project plans and maps
n
- Detour and traffic maps
n
- Banners and large-format materials
n
- Other corporate and marketing collateral as required
n

n

The role will involve collaborating with communication, engagement and project delivery teams and managing multiple design projects and competing deadlines.

n

About you

n

To be successful in this role, you will have:

n

n
- Demonstrated experience in graphic design across print and digital channels.
n
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign,



Illustrator and Photoshop.
n
- Experience designing communication collateral for infrastructure, construction, transport or community projects.
n
- A strong understanding of brand governance and the ability to apply corporate style guidelines.
n
- Experience preparing artwork for production across signage, publications, maps and large-format materials.
n
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.
n
- Experience collaborating with communication, engagement and project delivery teams.
n
- Experience working within government or a large, complex organisation will be highly regarded.
n
