Personal Care Worker

Do you live in Nerang, Highland Park, Carrara, Molendinar, Ashmore, Gilston or Gold coast surrounds? We are seeking an experienced team member to make a difference in supporting our local residents at Homestead Aged Care based in Nerang. Ability to work independently with a small team of carers and flexibility to cover additional day or night shifts is highly regarded.

About The Role
n
As a Personal Care Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting residents and work along side our care team.
n
n
- Provide personal care and emotional support to residents
n
- Assist with daily living: mobility, meals, social outings and clinical care
n
- Review care plans, report and observe changes
n
- Maintain dignity and privacy for all resdients
n
- Support Registered Nurses
n
n
About You
n
n
- Passionate about Aged Care and providing safe supportive care to the residents.
n
- Currently holds a Certificate 3 or Certificate 4 in Individual Support/ Aged Care.
n
- Experienced as a Personal Care Worker in Residential Aged Care.
n
- Flexible and able to do shifts including AM, PM, Night & Public holidays
n
- Hold valid Australian Work Rights - Unfortunately we are not currently able to sponsor
n
