The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Intermediate Accountant looking to take the next step in your public practice career?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a energetic, 70-person multidisciplinary accounting and wealth advisory firm where you'll gain exposure to quality clients, business advisory and more complex accounting work.

You'll work alongside experienced accountants, managers and advisors in a collaborative environment, developing your technical skills while building strong client relationships.

About the Firm This well-established firm has built a strong reputation for providing high-quality accounting, tax, business advisory and wealth services to a diverse client base.

Their clients include TV personalities, well-known sporting professionals, large medical groups, construction companies, hospitality groups and agribusinesses, providing excellent exposure to a variety of industries and business structures.

With accounting fees ranging from $20,000 to $200,000, you'll have the opportunity to work with interesting and high-value clients while continuing to develop your career.

The Role As an Intermediate Accountant - Tax & Business Advisory, you'll work across a combination of compliance and advisory services, with the opportunity to progressively take on more responsibility as your experience develops.

Your responsibilities will include

n

n
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns and management reports for a diverse client portfolio
n
- Assisting with tax planning and business advisory engagements
n
- Working with clients across a range of industries and business structures
n
- Assisting with more complex tax and accounting matters
n
- Building strong relationships with clients and becoming a trusted point of contact
n
- Working closely with Managers and Directors on client engagements
n
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members as your experience develops
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve clients' financial and business outcomes
n

About You We're looking for an Accountant who is ready to take the next step in their public practice career.

n

Ideally, you will have:

n

n
- 3+ years' experience in Australian public practice
n
- CA or CPA qualification, or currently working towards your qualification
n
- Strong experience across tax and business services
n
- Good knowledge of Australian tax legislation
n
- Strong attention to detail and a commercial mindset
n
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
n
- A genuine interest in developing your advisory capabilities
n
- The ability to work collaboratively within a high-performing team
n
