We are partnering with a large technology organisation looking for a Principal Engineer to join a highly technical engineering team delivering and evolving a complex cloud-native platform.

n

This is a hands on Principal level engineering role requiring deep .NET/C# development, AWS and Terraform expertise.

n

A key focus of the engagement will be supporting the integration of Amazon Bedrock capabilities into the existing DevOps-hosted platform. Previous Bedrock experience is highly regarded but not mandatory — solid AWS engineering fundamentals and the ability to rapidly understand and implement new AWS services are more important.

The Role You will join an established AWS engineering environment, working across complex APIs and microservices while helping evolve the platform to support new AI capabilities.

You will:

- Design, build and deploy production-grade .NET/C# applications and APIs
n
- Develop and enhance AWS Lambda-based microservices
n
- Work across containerised workloads running on Amazon EKS
n
- Help design and implement Amazon Bedrock into the existing platform
n
- Build and maintain sophisticated Terraform infrastructure
n
- Design reusable Terraform modules supporting multiple microservices and environments
n




- Make key decisions around application architecture, scalability, reliability and performance
n
- Lead technical discussions and provide engineering direction across the team
n
- Rapidly understand a complex existing API and microservices landscape and begin contributing meaningful production code
n
- Balance security, governance and regulatory requirements with speed of delivery
n
- Remain highly hands on while operating as a senior technical leader
n
