About the Role

n

The Senior Network Engineer helps customers maximize network performance, availability, and functionality to support their business objectives. Acting as the primary customer-facing representative, they deliver expert technical solutions, services, and support, ensuring networks are effectively managed and optimized while contributing in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

Responsibilities

n

n
- Build and maintain strong customer and stakeholder relationships to ensure effective collaboration and support.
n
- Develop deep knowledge of customer network environments, critical sites, and operational procedures.
n
- Provide dedicated technical support for complex network issues and critical outage escalations.
n
- Proactively monitor cases, drive resolutions, and conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for recurring issues.
n




- Participate in case reviews and customer engagements, delivering technical insights and recommendations.
n

Skills and Experience

n

n
- Solid expertise in Routing and Switching technologies (IOS-XR / IOS-XE / NX-OS).
n
- Hands-on experience with Cisco platforms including ASR9000, NCS540/5500, ASR1000, and Nexus 5000/7000 series.
n
- Proficiency in network automation and troubleshooting using Python, Ansible, TCL, and EEM scripting.
n
- In-depth knowledge of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, MPLS, BNG, Segment Routing, and EVPN technologies.
n
- Experience supporting Enterprise solutions, including Data Centre, Wireless, and SD-WAN environments.
n
- Cisco certifications are preferred (CCIE etc).
