Location: Sydney with both intra and interstate travel.

About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced Service Technician, who will be responsible for the efficient installation, maintenance and repair of commercial and industrial dust and fume extraction systems across industrial sites.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Conduct scheduled and breakdown maintenance on a variety of systems.
n
- Diagnose and Troubleshoot issues with equipment to identify and resolve problems.
n
- Maintain detailed service records and provide updates on work progress.
n
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards.
n
- Provide expert advice and recommendations to customers on the optimal performance of their systems.
n
- Carry out the installation of our duct collectors and associated ducting, fans and fume extraction.
n
- Maintaining scheduling of works and service on our company shared calendar
n
- Out on the road, you'll be representing our business and capabilities to our customers.
n

Systems You Will Work On

n

n
- Dust collectors / baghouses
n
- Wet scrubbers
n
- Ducting systems and capture hoods
n
- Fans, motors, rotary valves,



and discharge equipment
n

n

Skills & Experience Required

n

n
- Strong background in dust extraction, fume control, or industrial ventilation systems would be advantageous.
n
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve equipment issues.
n
- Excellent customer service orientation and communication skills
n
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
n
- A valid drivers licence is essential. A work vehicle will be supplied for on-the-road jobs
n
- High focus on safety and quality
n

n

Qualifications (Preferred but not essential)

n

n
- Trade qualification (Mechanical Fitter, sheet metal worker, or similar)
n
- White Card (mandatory)
n
- Working at Heights, Confined Space (desirable)
n
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation
n

n
