We are looking for a recent Assistant Venue Manger to join our wonderful team here at The Sandbar.The Sandbar is a busy cafe located on the beach in Middle Park, open 7 days a week, offering casual dining for breakfast and lunch.

About the role

n

The Assistant Venue Manager will work closely alongside the venue manager to develop the team and strive to ensure the venue's growth, profitability, and overall success.

Key responsibilities

n

n
- Day to day operations of the bar, restaurant and function spaces
n
- Knowledge of venue systems and equipment
n
- Roster management
n
- Product ordering and liaising with reps
n
- Drive a positive working environment and lead by example as a senior restaurant leader
n
- Ensuring superior service and quality to ensure delivery of outstanding guest experiences
n
- Opening and closing procedures
n
- Supporting the venue manager
n

- RSA certification
n
- 2 years experience in a similar role
n
- Exposure to both bar and restaurant environments
n
- Basic computer skills
n
- Experience with booking systems
n
- Current valid Australian visa
n
- Availability to work across days, evenings and weekends
