Reporting to the Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in maintaining healthy cash flow while supporting the wider finance function across reporting, compliance, reconciliations, and month-end activities.

About the Role

n

You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of Accounts Receivable function.

n

Investigate and resolve overdue accounts by identifying root causes, liaising with customers and internal stakeholders, and driving issues through to resolution.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Accounts Receivable

n

n
- Manage debt collection and follow up outstanding accounts to maintain a healthy debtor ledger.
n
- Build positive relationships with customers through regular communication and payment discussions, drive and resolve payment issues.
n
- Process customer payments, including over-the-phone transactions.
n
- Conduct credit checks, PPSR registrations and establish new customer accounts.
n




- Monitor customer credit limits and manage associated risks.
n
- Resolve disputed transactions by liaising with internal teams and external customers.
n

Finance Support

n

n
- Support financial reporting and transaction processing.
n
- Assist with month-end and year-end close activities associated with Accounts Receivable and Bank Reconciliations.
n
- Perform multi-currency bank reconciliations.
n

n

About You

n

You'll be a motivated accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in accuracy and customer service.

n

You'll be self-motivated, hold strong problem-solving skills and have the ability to take ownership of complex accounts receivable matters with minimal supervision.

n

We're looking for someone with:

n

n
- A tertiary qualification in Accounting.
n
- CPA studies completed or currently underway (or a desire to commence).
n
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a medium-sized organisation.
n
- Experience using ERP systems (NetSuite experience will be highly regarded).
n
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
n
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
n
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
n
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
n
- The ability to prioritise competing deadlines while working collaboratively with colleagues and customers.
n
