Job Description

Greenslopes Private is seeking a professional and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist on a casual basis. The role provides an opportunity to work across our Mental Health unit and our Persistent Pain Program to provide both group facilitation and individual evidence-based and trauma-informed care to patients and family members. Mental health experience will be highly valued, as well as the ability to work in a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

What we're looking for

n

n
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA.
n
- Clinical experience in mental health, group facilitation and/or hospital setting.
n
- Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive assessments, evidence-based treatment and recovery-oriented care for consumers and their families/carers, particularly in chronic pain and mental health.
n
- Ability to conduct comprehensive discharge planning in collaboration with patients, families/carers and the multidisciplinary team.
n
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritise a busy clinical caseload within a hospital setting.
n
- Ability to demonstrate strong customer service and communication skills with patients, families/carers, key stakeholders and across the multidisciplinary team.
n




- Mental health endorsement with Occupational Therapy Australia or willingness to gain this qualification would be highly valued.

Remuneration

n

On offer is a base hourly rate ranging from: $45.16 - $62.81 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (Grade 1.2 – 2.5)
