We currently have an exciting prospect based in Canberra for an experienced ILS Engineer who has direct experience with Life Cycle Cost to support a cutting edge satcom program.
n
The LCC Engineer is responsible for the execution and completion of multi-discipline technology project to support a complex ASDEFCON Satcom sustainment project.
n
Duties and Responsibilities will include:
n
n
- Design, update and implement Life Cycle Cost models
n
- Evaluate and quantify total cost of ownership
n
- Development of ILS Artefacts including ILS Plans, LORA, RAM, provisioning and CDRL's
n
- Support development of optimized preventative maintenance and component replacement strategies
n
- Continuously improve LCC methodologies, assumptions and data quality
n
- Life Cycle Cost (LCC) activities
n
- ILS management including planning and controlling delivery of ILS documentation & data
n
- Preform logistic support analysis, maintainability, and reliability
n
- Review and approve ILS documentation and data
n
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders
n

- Bachelor degree in Engineering, Finance or related field
n
- 8 + years of experience in Life Cycle Costing, Reliability engineering, maintenance engineering, or cost analysis in defence environment
n
- Experience navigating technical or cost data
n
- Experience with the Systecon - OPUS Suite.
n
- Experience with Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) modelling and reports, Logistics Support Analysis, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), or Provisioning Analysis
n
- Must meet International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) Requirements

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
n
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain working relationships
n
- Applicants MUST hold a current NV1 or higher ADF Security Clearance (Australian citizens).
