Our client is a tier 1 HFT firm that trades across essentially all listed asset classes, with a strong focus on derivatives. Through market making and market taking, they support millions of transactions globally each day; providing liquidity and competitive pricing via highly specialised trading desks.

As a Senior Trading Systems Project Manager, you will partner with developers, technology leaders, traders, and business stakeholders to deliver major technology initiatives for the equities options business. This is a hands-on role using project management to drive complex delivery in a fast-paced, technology-led environment. You'll own delivery end-to-end, from concept to go-live; while guiding stakeholders throughout the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the delivery of the equities options trading systems projects that span multiple regions, teams, and business domains
n
- Partner with global teams to deliver initiatives supporting the Asian Trading business
n
- Apply strong knowledge and/or experience with large-scale and complex trading systems
n
- Gather, assess, and translate requirements across business and technology teams—then guide teams on implementation approaches
n
- Communicate proactively and clearly by providing regular project status updates to stakeholders at all levels to ensure transparency and alignment
n
- Coordinate delivery efforts with robust orchestration, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills
n
- Assess and manage delivery and business risk by understanding probabilistic outcomes
n
- Review project requirements and objectively select suitable strategies, tools, and/or project management methodologies
n
- Demonstrate analytical curiosity by investigating and clearly describing complex distributed systems, processes,



and high-level data flows (including diagramming where needed)

- Handle changing priorities by adapting quickly to new demands, including taking on projects at short notice and managing multiple deliverables with varying deadlines
n
- Work effectively in an evolving environment, with familiarity with Agile methodologies and iterative ways of working
n

What You Can Expect

What We're Looking For

n

n
- 7+ years' experience delivering trading systems
n
- Previous experience in equities options technology is a strong plu
n
- 7+ years' experience in a Project Management, or BA/PM role within an IT environment, including management of SDLC projects
n
- Strong communication and the ability to report on project status to stakeholders consistently
n
- Strong negotiation skills and comfort applying probabilistic thinking to manage risk
n
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in a technical discipline
n
