- Supervise individuals on community-based orders
n
- Guide rehabilitation and ensure accountability
n
- Assess individual needs and risks
n
- Develop tailored case plans
n
- Prepare reports for relevant authorities
n
- Recommend programs and services supporting positive behavioural change
n
- Travel to and work across rural and remote communities
n
- Work within a correctional centre environment at the Junee location
n
- Collaborate with other agencies and community partners to improve lives and realise the potential of children, adults, families, and communities
n

Requirements

n

n
- Obtain Certificate IV in Correctional Practice within 24 months of employment and within 12 months of commencing training
n
- Current driver's licence
n
- Willingness/ability to drive within NSW
n
- Ability to complete a mandatory four-week, in-person, paid training program at Brush Farm Academy
n
- Clear communication
n
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
n
- Integrity, resilience, and sound judgment
n
- Cultural awareness, especially with Aboriginal and CALD communities
n
- Confidence handling tough situations with empathy
n
- Solid commitment to growth and community safety
n
