Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Transformer Technician to join Powertech supporting our Malagaoffice on a Full-Time Permanent Basis.

We are currently taking applications Recent Zealand and Australia wide. Point of hire will be Perth Western Australia, must be willing to relocate if based outside of Western Australia.

About The Role:

n

n
- Achieve the deliverables outlined in the 'transformer services' business plan.
n
- Perform work and provide technical support of HV Power Transformers
n
- Ensure client's requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
n




- Build and maintain strong relationships with Powertech clients.
n
- Professionally execute all assigned projects from start to finish.
n
- Work in remote areas within the state, offshore and interstate as required.
n

About You:

n

n
- An electrical trade (current fitter/mechanic electrical license). Preferred but not a requirement.
n
- 5 or more years' Experience in Power transformers.
n
- Perform power Transformer Oil Filtration and Circulation.
n
- Rectification and Refurbishment work of Power Transformers
n
- Installation & assembly of New Power Transformers and provide onsite support.
n
- Site Inspections and consultancy for Power Transformers to assist clients with maintenance plans and rectifications or refurbishments.
n
- Familiar with Transformer components and accessories, such as Tap changer systems/ operation.
n
- Ability to fault find, diagnose and repair Transformers, including Transformer oil diagnosis.
n
- Extensive knowledge of transformer service requirements
n
- Demonstrated interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
n
- Truck license is preferred but not a requirement.
n
- Ability to perform Transformer electrical testing is preferred but not a requirement.
n
