Lachlan Shire Council are looking to recruit a Customer Service Officer/Service NSW Officer for our Lake Cargelligo Office!

n

This permanent part-time position is based at our Lake Cargelligo Office, three (3) days a week and occasionally assists our Condobolin Office from time-to-time.

n

This role is responsible for providing a professional level of customer service at all times to Council's external & internal customers, this involves front line customer service, telephone duties, cashiering, Service NSW duties, library services and related tasks.

n

About You

n

To be successful you will need:

n

n
- The ability to undertake Service NSW Training off site as required (at Council's expense)
n
- Working with Children Check
n
- Experience in cash handling and balancing
n
- Excellent customer service skills and experience
n
- The ability to work well in a team
n
- Well-developed written and oral communication skills
n
- Basic Microsoft software skills and experience
n
- Current Class 'C' Drivers Licence
n
- Justice of the Peace (or have the ability to acquire within 6 months)
n

What We Offer

Salary and Conditions:

n

- Salary range: $1,531.02 to $1,645.85 per fortnight
n




- Starting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.
n
- 45 hours per fortnight (Working Monday to Wednesday, from 8.45am to 5pm inclusive with a 45 minute lunch break)
n
- Position classified at Grade 8 within Council's Salary Structure
n
- Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award
n
