Giovenco Projects Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled Carpenter to join our growing team in Southern Highlands, NSW. As a Carpenter in our residential construction business, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of high-quality homes for our clients. This is a full-time position based in our Bowral location.

What you'll be doing

- Reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications to carry out carpentry work as per the project requirements
n
- Performing a range of carpentry tasks, including framing, roofing, flooring, cladding, and finish work
n
- Collaborating with the broader construction team to ensure seamless project delivery
n
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
n
- Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
n
- Providing hands-on mentorship and guidance to junior members of the carpentry team
n

What we're looking for

n

- Formal carpentry qualification, such as a Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
n
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Carpenter in a residential construction environment
n




- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and best practices
n
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
n
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently
n
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
n
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural drawings and specifications
n
