Elevate Energyhas secured a multitude of long-term projects and are currently seeking a Water Treatment Engineer to join our team based out of Brisbane, Queensland. We are looking for candidates with a can-do attitude, who can work autonomously and safely.

About the Role

n

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Water Treatment Engineer to join our team based in Brisbane, Queensland.

n

This is a great prospect for an engineer with experience in water and wastewater treatment who enjoys a combination of technical problem-solving, project delivery, operational support and working with clients and project teams.

n

As a Water Treatment Engineer, you will be involved in the design, optimisation and delivery of water treatment solutions across a range of projects.

n

Responsibilities

n

n
- Designing and developing water and wastewater treatment systems
n
- Preparing engineering calculations, technical specifications and reports
n
- Reviewing treatment processes and recommending improvements
n
- Supporting the design, commissioning and optimisation of treatment plants
n
- Conducting process assessments and troubleshooting operational issues




n
- Working with project managers, operators, contractors and clients
n
- Reviewing equipment and process performance
n
- Assisting with project planning, budgeting and technical documentation
n
- Ensuring designs and projects comply with relevant Australian standards and regulations
n
- Providing technical support during installation, commissioning and ongoing operations
n
- Participating in site inspections and occasional travel when required
n

About You

n

n
- A degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil, Process Engineering or a related discipline
n
- Previous experience in water or wastewater treatment
n
- Knowledge of water treatment processes, equipment and technologies
n
- Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills
n
- The ability to prepare clear engineering reports and documentation
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
n
- A practical approach to engineering and project delivery
n
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
n
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screen, and national police clearance
n
- Experience with membrane systems, filtration, reverse osmosis, desalination, biological treatment, chemical dosing or industrial water treatment will be highly regarded.
n
