We are looking for a Clinical Psychologist, Registered Psychologist or Registrar to join our team, with a particular interest in children and adolescents to help with the growing demand in this area.

Invision Psychology is a well established private psychology practice providing high quality services throughout Central Queensland and via telehealth.

We provide evidence based therapy, psychological assessments and NDIS services for children, adolescents, adults and families. Our clinicians work together to deliver exceptional client care while supporting one another professionally.

About the Role
n
This role is ideal for a psychologist with a passion for supporting children, adolescents and families. You'll be joining a well established practice with a solid reputation through out Central Queensland and an established referral network from GPs, paediatricians, schools, NDIS providers and other health professionals. With a consistent waitlist and high demand for child and adolescent psychology services, you'll have the opportunity to step into a full and rewarding caseload from the outset. Whilst the role has a child and adolescent focus you will not be limited to this demographic if you wish to broaden your scope.

You'll provide evidence based therapy and psychological assessments across a range of presentations while working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
n
Typical presentations include:

- Anxiety and depression
n
- Trauma
n
- Emotional regulation
n
- Behavioural concerns
n
- ADHD
n
- Autism
n
- Learning disorders
n
- Neurodevelopmental differences
n
- Family and parenting challenges
n
n
You'll also have opportunities to complete psychometric assessments and provide comprehensive reports to support diagnosis and treatment planning.

Your Responsibilities
n
n
- Deliver evidence based therapy to children, adolescents and families.
n
- Conduct psychological and psychometric assessments.
n
- Prepare high quality clinical reports.
n
- Provide feedback to families, schools, GPs and other professionals.
n
- Deliver telehealth services when appropriate.
n
- Collaborate with our clinical team to provide outstanding client care.
n
- Maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with professional standards.
n
n
About You
n
You'll be someone who enjoys working with young people and values being part of a supportive team.
n
n
- Current registration with AHPRA (Clinical Psychologist, Registered Psychologist or Registrar)
n
- Experience working with children and adolescents (preferred)
n
- Experience or training in evidence based therapies such as: CBT, ACT, EMDR, IFS or similar modalities
n
- Strong assessment and report writing skills
n
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
n
- A client centred and compassionate approach
n
- Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
