NOW Energy is partnering with a well-established and growing commercial construction builder delivering projects across the retail, education, hospitality, service station and commercial sectors.

n

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured and upcoming projects, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their Sydney team.

n

This is an excellent opportunity for an accomplished construction professional with strong Principal Contractor experience who can take ownership of projects from pre-construction and procurement through delivery, handover and close-out.

n

The Role as Senior Project Manager, you will have overall responsibility for the successful delivery of projects, ensuring safety, quality, programme, commercial and client objectives are achieved.

n

Working closely with the construction, commercial and site teams, you will lead project delivery while managing subcontractors, consultants, clients and other key stakeholders.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead commercial construction projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover
n
- Develop and manage project programmes, budgets and delivery strategies
n
- Lead and coordinate Project Managers, Contract Administrators, Site Managers and project teams
n
- Oversee subcontractor procurement, engagement and performance
n
- Maintain responsibility for project financial and commercial performance
n
- Manage budgets, forecasting, variations and cash flow
n
- Identify and proactively manage construction and commercial risks
n
- Build and maintain strong client and consultant relationships
n
- Coordinate design, procurement and construction activities
n
- Drive project programmes and key delivery milestones
n
- Maintain high standards of WHS, quality and compliance
n
- Lead project,



client and subcontractor meetings
n
- Monitor project reporting, cost forecasts and programme performance
n
- Manage contractual matters in conjunction with the commercial team
n
- Ensure successful practical completion, handover and project close-out
n

About You

n

We are looking for an experienced construction professional who can demonstrate:

n

n
- Significant experience as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager within commercial construction
n
- Strong experience working for a Principal Contractor
n
- Proven delivery of commercial construction projects from commencement through to completion
n
- Experience across retail, education, hospitality, refurbishment and commercial fit-out highly regarded
n
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
n
- Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, programmes and subcontractors
n
- Solid leadership and team-management capability
n
- Excellent client and stakeholder management skills
n
- Ability to identify project issues early and implement practical solutions
n
- Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills
n
- A proven focus on safety, quality, programme and commercial outcomes
n
