About the Role
n
You will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, testing and servicing of a wide range of hydraulic equipment. The role is primarily workshop-based, with occasional on-site work required.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
n
- Resealing and testing hydraulic cylinders
n
- Servicing and repairing hydraulic jacks
n
- Repairing and testing foot pumps and hand pumps
n
- Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on a variety of hydraulic equipment
n
- Performing occasional on-site hydraulic testing and tagging
n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard
n
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Previous experience as a Hydraulic Fitter or similar mechanical role
n
- Strong hydraulic knowledge and fault-finding skills
n
- Experience repairing hydraulic cylinders, pumps and related equipment
n
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
n
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
n
- A proactive and reliable work ethic
n
n
