This is an excellent opportunity for skilled Diesel Fitters with strong Cummins engine experience looking for ongoing work, a consistent 7/7 roster and a DIDO arrangement.

About the Role As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out engine change-outs and mechanical maintenance on heavy mining equipment. Key responsibilities include:

- Completing engine swap-outs and change-outs
n
- Removing and installing engines and associated components
n
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and completing repairs
n
- Conducting preventative and breakdown maintenance
n
- Working safely and efficiently in a mining workplace
n
- Completing maintenance documentation and reporting as required
n
n
About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
n
n
- Trade Certificate – Diesel Fitting / Heavy Vehicle / Mechanical
n
- Proven Cummins engine experience – essential
n
- Previous experience working on heavy mobile mining equipment
n
- Mining experience highly regarded
n
- Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
n
- Ability to work safely and independently
n
- Current Driver Licence
n
- Standard 11 and Coal Board Medical
n
- Ability to work a 7/7 roster
n
n
