Role: AWS Architect

n

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia

n

Experience: 13+ yrs

n

Must Have Experience:

n

n
- Design and deploy scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant solutions on AWS
n
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust cloud architectures
n
- Lead cloud strategy, migration, and modernization initiatives
n
- Select appropriate AWS services (compute, storage, database, networking, security)
n
- Ensure adherence to AWS Well-Architected Framework (security, reliability, performance, cost)
n
- Define architecture standards, guidelines, and reusable patterns
n
- Conduct architecture reviews (HLD/LLD) and ensure compliance with enterprise standards
n
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate ML models into applications
n
- Ensure data security, governance, and ethical AI usage
n
- Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API integration
n




- Experience with DevOps practices (CI/CD, containerization, Kubernetes preferred)
n
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and automation tools
n
- Robust hands‐on experience with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, VPC, CloudFormation
n

Good to Have experience:

n

n
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
n
- Experience in cloud migration and modernization
n
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / CloudFormation)
n
- Architect solutions leveraging AI/ML services (Amazon SageMaker, Bedrock, Comprehend, etc.)
n
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
n
- Design GenAI-based use cases such as:
n
- RAG-based solutions
n
- AI agents / automation workflows
n
- NLP / document intelligence solutions
n
