Job Description

n

The Role
n Based at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Banyo, you will support our engineering and production teams by delivering high-quality, efficient maintenance services. This dynamic role will challenge your technical skills through a mix of planned maintenance, rapid breakdown response and exciting new machinery deployments.

n

Your problem-solving abilities and capacity to think on your feet will be highly valued within our fast-paced Engineering & Maintenance team. If you thrive in an environment where no two days are the same, this is your next career step.

This position operates on a regular, structured roster across the following hours:

n

- Tuesday to Friday: 1:00 pm to 9:06 pm
n
- Saturday:7:00 am to 3:06 pm or 8:00 am to 4:06 pm
n

n

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Maintain,



controland diagnose FMCG machinery including fillers, mixers, conveyorsand robotics.
n
- Troubleshoot mechanical faults and production breakdowns using hydraulics and pneumatics expertise.
n
- Execute planned maintenance tasks and log data utilizing the MEX asset management system.
n
- Identify, developand participate in continuous improvement initiatives and machinery projects.
n
- Safely operate and maintain plant equipment, including steam and gas appliances where required.
n

About You

n

You are a proactive, cooperative trade professional who thrives under pressure and champions strong teamwork.

n

n
- Relevant mechanical trade qualification with 5+ years of FMCG production environment experience.
n
- Proven proficiency with planned maintenance systems, ideally utilizing MEX software or similar.
n
- Familiarity with automation, machinery reliability engineeringand complex fault-finding.
n
- Confined Space, Working at Heightsand EWP certifications are highly advantageous.
n
- Strong communication skills with a focus on safety and quick, analytical thinking.
n
