Altitude Charging is a Melbourne-based specialist EV charging company delivering commercial, workplace, multi-residential and public EV charging infrastructure across Melbourne and Victoria.

We're growing our team and looking for an A Grade Electrician / EV Charging Technician to join our small, experienced team.

n

This is not a traditional electrical role. We are looking for someone who wants to specialise in EV charging technology and become part of a rapidly growing industry.

The Role

n

Working as part of our installation team, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning and servicing of EV charging infrastructure across a range of projects.

n

Your work will include:

n

n
- Installation and commissioning of AC and DC EV chargers
n
- Installation of electrical infrastructure associated with EV charging
n
- Cable installation, termination and testing
n
- Installation of switchboards, protection and associated equipment
n
- EV charger commissioning and configuration
n
- Installation and configuration of load management systems and power metering equipment
n
- Fault finding and troubleshooting
n
- Working with EV charging software and network platforms
n
- Testing and verifying completed installations
n
- Working on commercial, multi-residential and public charging projects
n
- Working closely with our technical and project teams to deliver high-quality installations

About You

n

We're looking for an electrician who wants to specialise, not simply add EV chargers to your existing electrical work.

n

You will have:

n

- A Grade Electrical Licence
n

- Current Australian driver's licence – essential
n
- Strong electrical knowledge and practical skills
n




- Excellent attention to detail
n
- A professional approach and pride in your workmanship
n
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
n
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
n
- A genuine interest in EV technology, renewable energy and electrification
n
- A willingness to learn and develop specialist skills
n

Experience in EV charging, commercial solar or industrial instrumentation is highly advantageous, but not essential. Full on-the-job training will be provided to the right candidate.
