The Role

This is a national firm enjoying consistent growth, which has created the need to expand its Electrical Services offering and seek out an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its Melbourne-based operations.

n

This is ideally aimed at an ambitious and driven Electrical Engineer that wants to make a difference. The role will see you working alongside an existing team of seasoned professionals that will enable you to take your skillset and experience to the next level.

If you enjoy independently managing challenging projects from inception to completion and can foster/maintain strong relationships with clients, this role is definitely for you.

The Responsibilities

n

n
- Carrying out Electrical Engineering assignments from project start to finish
n
- Ensure tasks are completed to an exceptional standard
n
- Commitment to carrying out work in accordance with specific Australian codes & standards, and procedures
n
- Manage assigned tasks to meet project needs and proactively work with other team members to ensure that project goals are met
n
- Ensure all interfaces are identified and managed in the execution of all projects
n
- Ensure costs and timeframes are effectively controlled
n
- Attend site inspections and client meetings
n
- Provide detailed designs of Electrical Services

The Skills & Experience

n

n
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
n
- 3+ years of experience in a Building Services environment as an Electrical Engineer
n
- Design & analysis of electrical, power, lighting, communications, security, and data services
n
- In-depth knowledge of Australian building codes and standards
n
- Excellent communication skills, especially client-facing
n
- Team player and personable
n
- Advanced technical skills including AutoCAD, MS Office, and Dailux
n
