About the Role
This is a senior, hands on position for someone who wants genuine ownership rather than a narrow lane. You'll work closely with the Financial Controller, taking on meaningful controllership responsibility as the function scales, and acting as a technical point of reference for the wider team. It suits someone who's ready to move beyond execution into shaping how the business accounts for complex, judgement heavy areas.
- Own revenue recognition processes and technical accounting positions across global entities, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, manage intercompany accounting and support cash flow and treasury reporting
- Review contracts and commercial arrangements from an accounting lens, partnering closely with Legal and Commercial teams
- Lead elements of month end close, coach junior team members,
and step into select Financial Controller responsibilities
- Get involved in process improvement, automation and broader finance transformation work
- Flexible early morning start to overlap with international stakeholders
About You
- CA or CPA qualified
- 5+ years' experience in Financial Control, Technical Accounting, Audit or Corporate Reporting
- Strong grounding in IFRS, particularly revenue recognition
- Background in a chartered or audit environment (Big 4 or large mid tier) highly regarded, backed by solid post qualified experience
- NetSuite or similar ERP experience a bonus
- Comfortable working across multiple entities, currencies and time zones
