About the role
n
We are looking for a Stormwater Engineer to join our team and contribute to the planning, design, and delivery of civil infrastructure projects within our Capital Works Program.
n
Working under the general direction of the Senior Stormwater Engineer, you will support high‐quality projects including roads, footpaths, car parks, stormwater drainage systems, culverts, and associated civil works. This role suits a civil engineer seeking to develop or further apply skills in civil infrastructure and stormwater engineering across a diverse range of projects.

Responsibilities
n
n
- Support design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects (roads, drainage, culverts, etc.)
n
- Prepare engineering calculations, reports, specifications, and design documentation
n
- Design and assess stormwater/drainage systems to standards
n
- Review engineering drawings for accuracy and compliance
n
- Conduct site inspections to monitor construction and verify design implementation
n
- Apply engineering judgement to develop practical, cost‐effective solutions
n
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, WHS, and environmental requirements
n
- Provide clear technical advice and maintain accurate documentation
n
n
What we're looking for
n
n
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil or related), or relevant experience and knowledge
n
- Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, especially stormwater and drainage design
n
- Ability to prepare technical reports, calculations, and design documentation
n
- Positive problem‐solving skills and sound engineering judgement
n
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
n
- Current Class C Driver's Licence
n
