About the Role

n

As a Residential Youth Worker,



you will provide consistent support to children and young people living in residential care while helping them develop essential life skills and achieve positive outcomes.

n

n
- Support daily routines, personal care, meals, and household tasks.
n
- Build trusting and therapeutic relationships with young people.
n
- Assist with education, appointments, recreation, and community access.
n
- Promote emotional safety using trauma‐informed practices.
n
- Complete reports, documentation, and case notes accurately.
n

n

Skills & Experience

n

n
- Hold, or be working towards, a relevant Certificate IV qualification.
n
- Experience supporting children and young people.
n
- Understanding of trauma‐informed and person‐centred support.
n
- Current Driver Licence, First Aid, and CPR certification.
n
- Current Blue Card and relevant worker screening clearances.
n
