Role Overview

n

We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst (Tech BA) with strong experience in the banking/financial services domain. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, risk teams, technology teams and developers to understand requirements and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Gather, analyse and document business and technical requirements across Credit Risk and Market Risk.
n
- Work closely with Risk, Treasury, Finance, Technology and other banking stakeholders.
n
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories and technical requirements.
n
- Analyse existing systems, processes, data flows and identify areas for improvement.
n
- Work with developers and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
n
- Support data mapping, data analysis and integration requirements across risk systems.
n
- Develop process flows, functional documentation and requirement specifications.
n
- Participate in solution design discussions and provide business analysis input.
n
- Support SIT/UAT, defect analysis, troubleshooting and resolution.
n
- Assist with impact analysis for changes to risk models, calculations,



reporting and regulatory requirements.
n
- Ensure requirements and solutions align with banking risk policies and controls.
n

Essential Skills & Experience

n

n
- Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst within the banking or financial services sector.
n
- Hands-on experience working with Credit Risk and/or Market Risk projects.
n
- Valuable understanding of banking risk concepts, processes and systems.
n
- Experience in requirements gathering, functional analysis, process mapping and technical documentation.
n
- Strong understanding of data flows, data mapping, APIs/interfaces and system integration.
n
- Experience working with developers, architects and technology teams.
n
- Good SQL/data analysis skills.
n
- Experience with Agile delivery methodologies, Jira/Confluence or similar tools.
n
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
n

Desirable

n

n
- Experience with Risk Management platforms/applications.
n
- Knowledge of Basel, regulatory risk reporting, capital/risk calculations or related banking regulations.
n
- Experience working with large-scale banking transformation or risk technology programs.
n
- Exposure to Treasury, Derivatives, Trading or Financial Markets would be advantageous.
