We are looking for a Road Train Driver to join our team in Canobie. Canobie Station is located 200km north of Cloncurry, in the Gulf Region.

Key Responsibilities:
n
n
- Transportation of cattle as directed both on and off the station
n
- Handle cattle in line with AACo animal welfare standards.
n
- Be responsible for loading cattle at appropriate numbers.
n
- Adhere to current fatigue management guidelines.
n
- Complete all paperwork as required e.g. Livestock cartage book etc.
n
- Conduct general property observations while driving
n
- Carry out road train maintenance - Carry out a pre-start check daily or before each trip taken.
n
- Maintain road train serviceability and ensure the vehicle is in roadworthy condition.
n
- Monitor fuel and oil usage and record fuel in fuel log sheets
n
- Monitor spare part usage
n

Required Skills & Experience:
n
n
- Robust communication skills, both verbal and written.
n
- Current MC driver's license
n
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous
n
- Ability to work both alone and as part of a team
n
