About the Role
n
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will play an integral role in the delivery of accurate and timely payroll services for the organisation. Working as part of a close knit team, you will be responsible for a broad range of payroll duties, including:
n

- Processing the payroll for 400 + employees
n
- Preparation, reconciliation and payment of superannuation and payroll tax
n
- Calculating termination payments, redundancies, and long service leave entitlements
n
- Working & interpreting various EBA's and Award
n
- Responding to payroll related queries and providing exceptional employee support
n
- Completing payroll reconciliations and reporting requirements
n
- Maintaining payroll compliance and accuracy across all payroll activities
n
- Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline payroll processes
n
- Keeping up to date with legislative changes and payroll best practices
n
- Other ad hoc payroll related duties
n

About You
n
To be successful in this position, you will be a knowledgeable payroll professional who enjoys working in a collaborative workplace and takes pride in delivering accurate outcomes. You will ideally possess:

- Have proven prior experience within the payroll space (for a similar sized business / volume of employees)
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills

- A proactive, positive, and team-oriented attitude

- Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines

- A reliable and professional approach to your work

- Intermediate Excel skills
