We're excited to be recruiting Assistant Venue Managers across our existing Melbourne delis and upcoming new locations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

n

The Assistant Venue Manager is a key leadership role within the deli, supporting the Venue Manager in the day-to-day running and performance of the venue.

n

You'll be hands-on across both FOH and BOH, leading shifts, coaching the team in real time and helping maintain the high standards Hector's is known for.

n

This is a great opportunity for an experienced supervisor or shift leader who is ready to take on more responsibility and continue developing their leadership and commercial skills.

n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

n

- Supporting the Venue Manager in leading and developing a high-performing FOH & BOH team
n
- Leading shifts and ensuring the deli runs smoothly day to day
n
- Supporting sales performance, labour management and productivity
n
- Driving exceptional guest experience and service standards
n
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and brand consistency
n
- Coaching, onboarding and supporting the performance of team members
n
- Upholding food safety, cleanliness and compliance standards
n




- Stepping up to lead the venue in the Venue Manager's absence
n
- Working closely with the Venue Manager and Operations team to execute initiatives and improve performance
n

ABOUT YOU

- Previous hospitality leadership experience
n
- Experience as an Assistant Manager, Supervisor or Shift Leader preferred
n
- Ready to take the next step in your hospitality leadership career
n
- Strong understanding of what makes a great hospitality operation
n
- A product-first mindset with no desire to cut corners
n
- Calm, solution-focused and confident in leading a team
n
- Passionate about food and delivering consistently great guest experiences
