Your role
An exciting opportunity exists within our Complex Liabilities Insurance and Regulation team for a Legal Executive Assistant. This is a part-time (3 days),
12 month fixed term contract role that will support our Health Law team (primarily Medical Malpractice). The team are hard-working and passionate with a collaborative and supportive approach. You will collaborate with the other Legal Executive Assistants in the team to support each other and the team as a whole.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, a self-starter and proactive.
As a key addition to this team, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Comprehensive email and diary management, including coordinating and scheduling meetings;
- Maintaining and updating databases using Elite and iManage software;
- Managing high-volume files, including file opening, closing, and electronic filing;
- Performing general administrative duties, including drafting correspondence, filing, photocopying, scanning, and conducting searches as required;
- Coordinating and preparing monthly billing, client reporting, and general accounting responsibilities;
- Corporate card (AMEX and VISA) expense reconciliation;
- Travel arrangements for external parties, including accommodation, flights, and taxis.
