Full-Time Veterinary Nurse – Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery

Albany Creek Veterinary Surgery is looking for a passionate and experienced Full-Time Veterinary Nurse to join our friendly team!

n

We're looking for a qualified Veterinary Nurse who is compassionate, confident and enjoys providing high-quality patient care while working as part of a supportive team.

n

About the role

n

This is a varied and rewarding role within a busy, professional veterinary practice. You'll work closely with our veterinarians and nursing team to provide excellent care to our patients and their families.

n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Providing high-quality nursing and inpatient care
n
- Surgical preparation and anaesthetic monitoring
n
- Assisting veterinarians with consultations, procedures and treatments
n
- Administering medications and treatments
n
- Pathology, IV catheter placement and fluid therapy
n
- Patient monitoring and recovery
n
- Maintaining accurate patient records and high standards of hygiene
n

n

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their nursing skills,



is comfortable working in a busy environment and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of both patients and clients.

About you

n

You will ideally be:

n

n
- Certificate IV qualified in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
n
- Experienced and confident in clinical nursing and anaesthesia
n
- Compassionate, reliable and professional
n
- A strong communicator and team player
n
- Organised, proactive and able to work independently
n
- Passionate about patient care and continued professional development
n
