Position Overview

n

This is a senior operational role supporting site leadership and reporting to the Operations Manager.

n

As Senior Operations Coordinator, you are accountable for coordinating the day-to-day operational activities of the site, ensuring customer requirements, safety standards and business targets are consistently achieved. You will play a key role in workforce planning, team capability, and operational execution.

n

This roleoperateswithin a 24/7 shift-based environment, working a structured roster averaging 42 hours per week (7 x 12-hourDayshifts per fortnight).During Off Peak Season (April-September) hours may be more aligned to M-F working.You will leadday and night shift teamsasrequired, ensuring consistent operational performance and leadership presence across all hours of operation.

WhatYou'llBe Doing:

n

This role is hands-on and leadership focused. You will:

n

- Coordinate daily site operations including scheduling, workflowmanagementand product processing
n
- Lead workforce planning activities including rostering, shift allocation and leave management
n
- Provide day-to-day leadership,directionand support to operational teams
n




- Build team capability through training,coachingand development
n
- Support recruitment, onboarding and performance management processes
n
- Monitor and manage production schedules, ensuring clear communication with customers and internal stakeholders
n
- Identify,escalateand resolve operational issues, including plant and equipment challenges
n
- Drive operational efficiency, continuousimprovementand service delivery outcomes
n
- Ensure compliance with safety,qualityand regulatory requirementsat all times
n
- Oversee site housekeeping, maintenancecoordinationand facility standards
n

You will be a key link between frontline operations and site leadership, ensuring smooth execution and a high-performing team environmentacross a continuous 24/7 operation.

Key Requirements- About You

n

You are an experienced operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment and enjoys leading teams to deliver strong outcomes.You bring:

n

n
- Experience in a manufacturing,logistics,healthcareor other highly regulated operational environment
n
- Demonstrated experience in leading or supervising operational teams
n
- Strong capability in workforce planning,rosteringand managing operational priorities
n
- Experience working within shift-based or 24/7 operational environments (highly regarded)
n
- Experience supporting training,



onboarding and performance management processes
n
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills in dynamic environments
n
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
n
- A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to balance operational and people priorities
n
- A strong commitment to safety,qualityand continuous improvement
n

n

Experience in sterilisation, irradiation processing or medical/cleanroom environments will be highly regarded.

n
