Smoke Alarm Technician (No Licence Required) - Residential Compliance

You'll be responsible for completing smoke alarm testing and property inspections for 12-month compliance, focusing on push-button testing, battery replacement and correct alarm placement (non-hardwired work only).
n You'll also be the face of the business when dealing with tenants, landlords and property managers, so outstanding communication and customer service are essential.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Conduct smoke alarm testing and property inspections for 12-month compliance
n
- Test, maintain and replace smoke alarms and batteries (non-hardwired work only)
n
- Identify and clearly report non‐compliance issues
n
- Provide clear recommendations to landlords, tenants and property managers
n
- Complete accurate inspection reports using provided tools and software




n
- Deliver professional customer service on every visit
n
- Manage daily jobs independently and maintain organised, timely completion
n

What We're Looking For

n

To be successful in this role, you'll have:

n

n
- No electrical licence required (battery-operated / push-button testing only)
n
- Full/current driver's licence
n
- Reliable vehicle
n
- Ability to work autonomously
n
- Strong communication and customer service skills
n
- Working knowledge of Victorian residential tenancy standards is desirable
n
- Previous compliance or residential inspection experience is desirable, but not essential
n
