As Roofing Manager, you will lead the Roofing Division, reporting directly to the GM Construction. You will take ownership of divisional performance, profitability, team leadership, safety, customer satisfaction, and growth initiatives. This role involves full responsibility for the operational success of the Roofing Division, leading a team of tradespeople and subcontractors while ensuring projects and maintenance works are delivered safely, efficiently, and profitably.

Key responsibilities

- Leading and mentoring roofing tradespeople and subcontractors
- Managing day-to-day divisional operations
- Overseeing scheduling and resource allocation
- Ensuring projects and maintenance works are delivered safely, on time and within budget
- Monitoring job profitability and divisional performance
- Developing strong relationships with clients, builders and suppliers
- Supporting quoting, estimating and business development activities
- Maintaining compliance with workplace health and safety requirements

About you

- Significant experience in the roofing industry
- Proven leadership experience managing field-based trade teams
- Strong understanding of metal roofing, roof replacements, repairs and maintenance
- Experience managing job budgets, labour productivity and financial performance
- Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
- Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities
- Sound computer skills and experience with job management systems
- A commitment to safety, quality and customer service
