We're hiring a Security Operations Manager in Sydney.

KBC Security is looking for an experienced operator to take ownership of physical security service delivery at the Australian offices of a major international client. It's a client-embedded role working alongside the client's APAC regional security team, so you'll have both autonomy on the ground and proper support behind you.

The role in short:

Day-to-day administration of the physical security systems, access control and CCTV, and supervision of guarding operations across the sites. You'll coordinate access into the buildings and office suites, manage the provision and maintenance of alarms and CCTV, and run security inspections in consultation with local and regional security management.

Beyond the systems, this is a genuine security management role. You'll implement counter-terrorist alert measures and keep the written plans current, assist with risk categorisation of buildings and internal areas, run the transparent desk policy and compliance checks,



and deliver security awareness training to new starters at induction and to existing staff on an ongoing basis. Incident reporting into local and regional security sits with you.

What we're looking for:

Experienced and technically qualified in corporate physical security operations. Strong hands‑on capability with electronic access control and CCTV platforms. Someone who can work to our client's security policies, standards and procedures without needing to be chased, and who holds credibility with senior stakeholders. NSW Security Licence required. Corporate, financial services or critical infrastructure background preferred.

Hours are 0830 to 1730, Monday to Friday, with occasional work outside those hours as business needs require.
