Start Date: 31 August 2026

End Date: 4 December 2026 (willingness to extend)

Roster: Monday-Friday, 0830-1700

n

On-Call: One weeknight every two weeks + one weekend every six weeks

n

Rate: $2500/day (inclusive of on-call)

n

Accommodation: Allowance provided to source own accommodation

n

Travel: Car hire available with prior approval; daily limit up to $70; fuel & extra km not reimbursed

Service Overview

n

The Older Persons Mental Health Service (Northern & Southern Hubs) provides specialist case-management and psychiatry for consumers requiring age-related mental health care in a community setting.

n

Role Requirements

n

ECT accreditation (preferred)

n

Experience in community psychiatry, OPMHS, or general adult

n

Ability to attend onsite one full week every two weeks

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Provide psychiatric assessment and ongoing management for older persons

n

Work collaboratively with case managers and multidisciplinary teams

n

Support residential aged-care consumers at Blackwood Cottage

n

Contribute to care planning, documentation, and clinical governance
