The Role

An opportunity has become availablefor a Psychologist - Senior (MentalHealth - Adult Eating Disorder Program) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong teamis on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, andnorthern New South Wales region of Australia.

You will
n
n
- Deliverhigh level clinical services in accordance with skilled code ofethics
n
- Provideefficient, responsive and recovery oriented mental health care in avariety of hospital and community settings
n
- Provideintensive mental health interventions and ongoing assessments forconsumers who require high intensity services
n
- WorkCollaboratively with clinicians, multidisciplinary staff, serviceproviders, non-government organisations
n
n
About you
n
To be successful in this position youwill require:
n
n
- Atertiary degree in Psychology
n
- AHPRARegistration
n
- Apost graduate qualification from a relevant accredited psychology trainingprogramme would be well regarded
n
- DriverLicence
n
- Evidenceof vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinatedagainst - Measles, Mumps, Rubella,
Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
n
- Tuberculosisscreening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
n
- Declarationof serious discipline history must be disclosed
n
- CriminalHistory Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
