This is a genuine management role. You will lead the department rather than remain the clinical expert, supported by ACNMs and floor coordinators across scrub/scout, anaesthesia, PACU and support services.

- A theatre workforce of around 400 people across scrub/scout, anaesthesia, PACU and support
n
- An 8-project strategic improvement plan already underway
n
- A major rostering overhaul and the opening of two additional theatres in early 2027

What you'll need

- A scrub/scout clinical background, essential
n
- Substantial perioperative leadership experience
n
- Confidence with budgets, KPIs, process and people leadership
n
- AHPRA Registration
n

- Base salary $152,440 plus superannuation

- Not‐for‐profit salary packaging of up to $15,900 for living expenses plus $2,650 for meals and entertainment, subject to provider rules
