We're looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to join our Legal team and provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice across our global jewellery business.

n

This is a broad and wide-ranging role where you'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation, helping the business navigate legal and regulatory risk, make confident commercial decisions and deliver on our strategic priorities.

About the role

n

You'll provide legal support across a diverse portfolio, including commercial contracting, consumer law, marketing, ecommerce, merchandising, jewellery supply chain, intellectual property and credit compliance.

n

Your key responsibilities will include:

n

n
- Providing practical legal advice across corporate, commercial, regulatory and compliance matters.
n
- Advising on consumer law, advertising, pricing, promotions and customer guarantees.
n
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a high volume of commercial agreements, including supplier, IT/software, marketing, digital services and confidentiality agreements.
n
- Supporting teams across merchandising, jewellery supply chain, marketing, ecommerce and intellectual property.
n
- Identifying and assessing legal risk and providing recommendations that balance legal requirements with commercial objectives.
n
- Building strong relationships with stakeholders and translating complex legal concepts into clear, actionable advice.
n
- Liaising with external legal advisors where required and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective outcomes.
n
- Supporting legal training, education and communications across the business.
n
- Embracing technology,



AI and legal operations tools to improve how the Legal team works.

About you

n

You'll be a commercially minded lawyer who enjoys partnering with the business, solving problems and providing advice that makes a genuine difference.

n

You'll ideally have:

n

n
- A Law degree and current Australian practising certificate.
n
- 5–7 years' PQE, although candidates outside this range with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
n
- Extensive experience in commercial contract review and negotiation.
n
- Strong legal judgement and the ability to communicate complex matters clearly and confidently.
n
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
n
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and project management capabilities.
n
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work across multiple functions.
n
- A genuine interest in technology, AI and legal innovation.
n
- Experience in retail, consumer law, marketing and advertising, or a listed company environment will be highly regarded.
