MR Truck Driver - Immediate Start - Ormeau, QLD

Position: MR Truck Delivery Driver
n Location: Ormeau, QLD
n Pay Rate: $36.00/hr (casual)
n Hours: Runs commence between 4:30am and 8:00am, with finish times dependent on daily workload
n Employment Type: Casual, ongoing (potential for permanent placement)
n Start Date: Immediate Start

Duties include, but are not limited to:

n

n
- Drive Medium Rigid (MR) trucks to worksites to perform deliveries
n
- Physical and repetitive labouring tasks
n
- Load and unload material from trucks
n
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
n
- Adhere to road safety laws and fatigue management regulations
n

n

Requirements:

n

n
- A valid MR truck licence with a minimum of 12 months on-road driving experience
n




- Must provide a Driver History Report from last 5 years
n
- Physically fit and able to safely lift over 16kg as part of daily manual handling
n
- White Card (or willingness to obtain)
n
- Comfortable working closely with an offsider and independently when required
n
- Reliable transport for early starts (Public transport is not available)
n
- Prior experience with deliveries, construction sites, or removalist work (advantageous but not mandatory)
n
- Valid Forklift Licence (advantageous but not mandatory)
