About The Role

n

As Head Nurse, you'll play a key leadership role in the clinic, shaping nursing standards, mentoring the team, and maintaining clinical excellence.

In This Full‐time Role, You Will

n

n
- Lead, coach, and mentor our Veterinary Nursing team
n
- Build and nurture a positive, cohesive, and motivated team culture
n
- Manage daily workflow to support a high‐performing clinical environment
n
- Undertake hands‐on nursing duties, including:
n n
- Pre‐and post‐operative care
n




- Anaesthesia and surgical support
n
- Animal pathology
n
- Emergency and critical care
n
n
- Work closely with veterinarians to ensure gold‐standard patient care
n
- Identify opportunities to improve clinic efficiency and processes
n
- Handle client enquiries professionally in person, via email, and over the phone
n

n

About You

n

You're an experienced veterinary nurse who leads by example and brings confidence, compassion, and consistency to your team.

n

You'll Ideally Have

n

n
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
n
- 3+ years' clinical nursing experience
n
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading nursing teams
n
- A calm, supportive leadership style
n
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
n
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
n
- Flexibility, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset
n
- Familiarity with RxWorks (desirable, not essential)
n
