Junior Basketball Academy (JBA) is seeking enthusiastic Learn to Play Basketball Instructors to join our growing coaching team across Sydney.

Whether you're a current coach, university student, athlete, teacher, sport enthusiast, or someone who simply loves helping children learn and grow, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

n

n
- Deliver engaging, beginner-focused basketball sessions
n
- Teach fundamental skills including dribbling, passing, shooting and teamwork
n
- Create a protected, positive and inclusive setting
n
- Inspire confidence and participation in young players
n
- Support the setup and pack down of sessions
n
- Be a positive ambassador for JBA and The Y NSW
n

n

We're Looking For People Who

n

n
- Enjoy working with children and young people
n
- Bring energy, enthusiasm and positivity to every session
n
- Have basketball playing or coaching experience (desirable, not essential)
n
- Are reliable,



approachable and keen to develop their coaching skills
n
- Share our commitment to creating safe and inclusive environments for children
n

n

Essential Requirements

n

n
- Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain
n
- First Aid & CPR Certificate or willingness to obtain
n
- Passion for helping young people learn and thrive through sport
n

n
