About the Role

n

We're seeking a passionate and experienced Educational Leader to join Journey Early Learning Parap, our newest purpose‐built centre opening in November 2026.

n

This is a unique opportunity to help shape educational excellence from the very beginning. Working closely with the Centre Manager and founding team, you'll lead pedagogy, mentor educators, and establish a culture of quality, reflection, and continuous improvement.

n

We're looking for a leader who is passionate about building educator capability, creating strong teams, and fostering an environment where children, families, and educators thrive. As a visible and trusted mentor, you'll play a key role in developing confident educators and embedding high‐quality practice across the service.

Key Responsibilities

n

n
- Lead and embed high‐quality pedagogical practice across the centre
n
- Mentor and coach educators in programming, planning, and documentation
n
- Support reflective practice aligned with the EYLF and NQS
n
- Build educator confidence, capability, and consistency
n
- Model best practice through active involvement on the floor
n
- Guide continuous quality improvement and educational outcomes
n
- Work collaboratively with the Centre Manager to create a solid culture from day one
n

About You

n

You are a passionate mentor, coach, and educational leader who enjoys empowering others to achieve their best.

n

n
- Diploma or Bachelor level Early Childhood Education and Care qualification
n
- Strong understanding of pedagogy, programming, and the EYLF
n
- Previous Educational Leader experience (highly regarded)
n
- Confidence mentoring educators at all stages of their professional journey
n




- Experience driving quality improvement and educational outcomes
n
- Strong communication and relationship‐building skills
n
- A warm, approachable leadership style grounded in trust and respect
n
- Passion for building a positive and high‐performing team culture
n
