Position Information

n

Reporting the Catering Supervisor, we are seeking an experienced Catering Officer who is focused on the delivery of high-quality food service to join our Benhome Masonic Village.

n

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to

n

n
- Preparing meals that are compliant with food safety programs and recognised nutritional guidelines.
n
- Complying with food and safety programs and providing high quality, efficient and effective food service
n
- Assist in the preparation of meals and catering for special functions.
n
- Preparing the dining area for meal times and serving food and drinks to our residents
n




- Maintaining a clean work environment ensuring all cleaning and dishwashing is done in a timely manner
n

What we look for

- Qualifications in Protected Food Handling and Preparation
n
- Certificate III in Hospitality (desirable)
n
- Working knowledge of Food Safety principles
n
- Knowledge of special dietary needs for the elderlyUnderstanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
n
