D365 Functional Consultant - Sydney - Permanent - 90% Remote

I’m partnering with a growing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central consultancy looking for a Functional Consultant to join its Sydney team.

The client requires you on site 1 day per week and 4 days remote.

You’ll work across end-to-end BC implementations and enhancements, with exposure to finance, supply chain, inventory and warehouse management.

This is a client-facing role with genuine ownership of project workstreams, rather than a pure support position.

Key Responsibilities

- Run and support discovery, requirements and design workshops
- Configure Business Central across finance, purchasing, sales, inventory and warehousing
- Support fit/gap analysis, UAT, training and go-live
- Work with finance teams across GL, AP/AR, banking, fixed assets, dimensions and month-end
- Support data migration, opening balances and reconciliations
- Configure warehouse processes including locations, bins, picks and put-aways




- Work closely with developers and solution architects on integrations and solution design
- Use AI/Copilot tools to improve documentation, testing and delivery efficiency

What We’re Looking For

- Strong finance functional knowledge
- Experience across inventory, supply chain or warehouse management
- Exposure to end-to-end BC implementations
- Client-facing workshop, UAT or training experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Highly regarded

- Advanced WMS
- Retail, wholesale or distribution experience
- Shopify, freight or WMS integrations
- Power BI / Power Automate
